Developing scalable strategies to prevent substance use disorders, chronic pain, and related harms
Preventing Opioid Use Disorder
There is a need for effective prevention strategies to reduce the likelihood of opioid misuse and progression from misuse to disorder. Additionally, there are challenges in implementing, scaling up, and sustaining prevention interventions within the systems and settings that serve individuals at risk.
