NIAMS Advisory Council
The NIAMS Advisory Council meets three times each year to advise the Institute about its research portfolio and broader issues of science policy, and provide a secondary review of all grant applications that have been favorably recommended by a scientific peer group. Members of the Council are drawn from the scientific and lay communities and represent all areas within the Institute’s research mission. See the full list of NIH Advisory Committees.
NIAMS Clinical Trial Working Group
The NIAMS Clinical Trial Working Group was established to consider how the institute could optimally solicit and fund applications for clinical trials that would have the greatest impact in improving clinical outcomes, whether of rare or common diseases, for people with diseases and/or conditions within the NIAMS mission. Please note that these are recommendations that NIAMS will consider as the institute examines its clinical trials portfolio.
