As we mark our 50th year , we reflect on our rich and varied legacy. The book
takes readers through our history: our founding in honor of Congressman John E. Fogarty; the HIV/AIDS crisis that shifted our focus to building research capacity in low- and middle-income countries; specific examples of our scientific accomplishments across research areas; and viewpoints from our fellows, trainees, grantees and partners.
