About this skills group:
Worry creates an internal illusion that we’re doing something about a problem when we’re just spinning our wheels in rumination. Overthinking often shows up as a constant inner dialogue that analyzes everything—what might or might not happen, what people said, how they said it, and what it might mean. We tend to assume the worst, and that can take a toll on our mood, confidence, and ability to focus. In this 3-week skills group, we’ll explore how overthinking affects us and learn simple, effective ways to manage worry and quiet the mental noise.
