Grants & Contracts Management Branch

The Grants and Contracts Management Branch (GCMB) negotiates and issues over $3 billion annually in grants and cooperative agreements. GCMB is responsible for the fiscal and administrative management of NIA awards, according to all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.

Key Functions:

Negotiates and issues all NIA grant awards.
Provides fiscal and administrative management of extramural grants and contracts.
Works with scientists and institutional research administrators when ready to close out awards.
