Guidance on a Designed Data System and Methods

On May 4, 2022, the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) and the National Institute on Aging convened an expert meeting to consider methods for developing a designed data system that integrates administrative, commercial, and survey data and a comprehensive model for correcting multiple forms of selection bias. Experts shared guidance on the potential to use integrated state and commercial data to study aging and health, methods for working with multiple data sources, and approaches to a comprehensive model for correcting selection bias.
