Through the Gateway Exposome Coordinating Center’s (GECC) administration, innovation, and dissemination functions, the center will engage in activities to establish guidance and practices for the use and harmonization of exposure data across NIA-supported infrastructure projects, as well as other longitudinal studies of aging. Additionally, the GECC will support activities for the development of innovative and novel exposure measures and data. The center will disseminate resources and products developed for the broader AD/ADRD research community to expand the use of social and behavioral exposure data and harmonized measures in a wide range of studies.
The GECC will identify and set priorities, reach consensus, and establish guidance on accessing, developing, harmonizing, and sharing innovative exposome measures and data for the broader AD/ADRD research and stakeholder community in exposure domains including life experiences, social environment, medical and community services, built and natural environment, and policy environment.
Visit the Gateway Exposome Coordinating Center website to learn about their research domains, approach, pilot project program, town halls, and other research resources.
