Location

This webinar will be hosted virtually through Webex.

Purpose and Background

The purpose of the NIA Data LINKAGE Program (LINKAGE) is to link NIA-funded study data with existing datasets from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other sources and establish a cloud-based environment to support data accessibility and sharing. In providing these resources free of charge, LINKAGE aims to reduce resource cost and time barriers and promote access for researchers.

This webinar features the National Dementia Workforce Study (NDWS) linked with CMS data. The NDWS team will present an overview of their study and the CMS data they offer to researchers. Examples of linked data will be presented along with information on how to access NDWS-CMS linked data. Additionally, use case examples of using NDWS-CMS linked data will be provided to highlight the research that can be accomplished through linked CMS data.
