I’m delighted to announce that the NIA National Advisory Council on Aging recently approved three newly proposed research concepts! While regular Inside NIA blog readers may know an idea making it to the cleared concept stage doesn’t necessarily guarantee a future award application mechanism or contract solicitation, many of these do eventually result in a funding opportunity. If/when made official, they are published in the NIH Guide or on the SAM.gov website respectively.
For now, we encourage you to review and consider the following May 2024 concepts:
