The University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center has created the documentary “Why” about early-stage dementia. The film was created to address some of the barriers in recognizing and addressing early cognitive changes as well as supporting a hopeful, empowered approach to moving forward. The heartfelt documentary, which discusses the importance of research, may resonate with prospective clinical research participants.
