Recruitment and Retention in a Preclinical AD Trial: Comparisons Between Academic and Non-Academic Sites

This study compares clinical trial recruitment and retention at academic institutions versus non-academic sites. Researchers found that when comparing the two, academic sites had more participants with a family history of dementia and a professional degree, but fewer participants with a history of diabetes, a CDR-SB score above 0, and belonging to a racial or ethnic underrepresented group.
