Gene Test or Not? A Decision Aid for People Considering APOE Testing for Alzheimer's Risk

Researchers developed and tested an online decision-making tool, called Gene Test or Not?, to help people decide whether to have the APOE genetic test for Alzheimer’s risk. Results from the research show that the decision aid could provide educational assistance to people considering the APOE genetic testing and help facilitate further discussions with their health care providers.
