COVID‐19 Pandemic's Relationship With Enrollment at US Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers

This study analyzed data from over 10,000 participants from 30 Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers (ADRCs) to assess the relationship of the pandemic with ADRC enrollment and calculate projected dates of enrollment recovery. Data show that the pandemic was associated with a 77% drop in overall enrollment and a 91% drop in Black/African American participants. Researchers project that enrollment rates will recover completely by September 2024.
