Wayne State University's Institute of Gerontology offers a collection of age-friendly technology and research resources, developed in collaboration with people aged 65 and older, specifically for that age group. The toolkit includes a document to provide older adults with a basic understanding of the academic research process as well as resources to help them create and use an email account, use a videoconferencing platform, and connect to the internet. Educating older adults in the computer and technology skills needed to participate in research may improve research inclusion for this critical population.
