Brain Donation: What We Learn and How It Can Help You and Your Family

The New York University (NYU) Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) hosted a Learn at Home Series video webinar about brain donation. Presented by Arline Faustin, M.D., associate director, Neuropathology Core at the NYU ADRC, the webinar provides information about how brain donation allows researchers to learn more about neurodegenerative brain disorders. Faustin also educates viewers about healthy and diseased brains, dementia, and why brain and tissue examination not only helps researchers, but also gives families a definitive diagnosis and helps them understand their own risk.
