This article describes the protocol for the Black and African American Connections to Parkinson’s Disease study, a cross-sectional, multicenter national study. The protocol may serve as a useful resource for researchers preparing their own protocols, as it incorporates several strategies to reduce barriers to participation and emphasizes community engagement with underrepresented groups.
