The Office of Administrative Management (OAM) provides administrative management, strategic business solutions, and consultative support and services to the 14 offices that make up the Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI).
Our daily operations support the DPCPSI mission which includes identifying emerging scientific opportunities, rising public health challenges, and scientific knowledge gaps that merit further research. The division plans and coordinates NIH-wide initiatives and research supported by the NIH Common Fund and develops resources to support portfolio analyses.

Administrative Management Services
The OAM provides a wide range of administrative management services to support the DPCPSI offices on a daily basis. Our goal is to provide consistency of operations across the division through value-added services, information, tools, and resources. We seek to accomplish this by building trust, maintaining transparency, and forming positive relationships through effective communications across the division.
About Us
The OAM was formally established in 2013 and created to streamline business processes, and to promote consistency and best practices across the diverse offices within the DPCPSI division. The OAM is an office within the Immediate Office of the Director of DPCPSI. The Division is in the Office of the Director (OD), of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
