Recruitment: Logistical barriers

Provide support for clinical research on AD and AD-related dementias to overcome the major logistical barriers to participation including bringing clinical trials to the participants’ living environments.

Summary of Key Accomplishments

Milestone goals are supported by two targeted funding initiatives: “Examining Diversity in Recruitment and Retention in Aging Research” and “Inclusion of Mobile/E-consent for AD research.” Seventeen projects have been funded. Collectively, these projects address key barriers to research participation across diverse populations including logistical barriers.
