The IRG reviews funding applications and proposals, including but not limited to grant and cooperative agreement applications and contract proposals for research projects and for research and training activities in areas relevant to endocrinology and reproductive biology, as well as research relating to basic and clinical aspects of metabolism, nutrition and gastroenterology, including but not limited to, metabolic studies in normal and disease states at the organism, tissue or cellular level, the requirements of living organisms for nutrients, vitamins and trace elements and nutritional practices.
