The IRG reviews funding applications and proposals, including but not limited to grant and cooperative agreement applications and contract proposals for research projects and for research and training activities in areas relevant to (1) the broad areas of biobehavioral processes; including conditioning, affect and stress, regulatory and hormonal function, and appetitive behaviors; (2) the broad areas of language and communication, learning, cognition and perception, and motor function, including sound production; and (3) the broad areas of behavioral, developmental, and substance use disorders including psychopathology in infants, children, adolescents and adults.
