Scientific Review Officer

The Cellular to Systems Neuroscience of Learning, Decision-Making, and Cognitive Dysfunction Panel reviews applications focused on the anatomical and functional neurobiology underlying social and affective learning, as well as higher-order decision-making across the lifespan. The panel may also review studies examining cognitive deficits in aging-related neurodegeneration, and those arising from environmental exposures and/or radio- or chemotherapy. The scope includes investigations of cellular and molecular changes, neural circuitry and coding mechanisms, and their behavioral manifestations. Studies may employ a range of model systems, including vertebrate and invertebrate animals, human participants, and computational approaches.
